Philosopher’s Mind is a research, educational and consultancy organisation based in the UK. It was founded by Dr Anita Calvert and a passionate, international team of academics and philosophy enthusiasts. Our Philosopher’s Mind slogan, 'INTRIGUED BY THE UNKNOWN, IGNITED BY THE DEPTHS,' encapsulates our core belief in human flourishment by pursuing virtues of wisdom, courage, and power of agape (unconditional bond of friendship). We are committed to bringing philosophy and virtue ethics from academic discussions to everyday applications and to a refreshed mode of thinking. Our mission is to empower individuals and organisations by integrating philosophical principles into personal development, educational programs and workplace culture.
Our flagship offerings are our character development courses, designed for individuals, educational institutions, care homes, and businesses. These courses provide insights drawn from the rich traditions of philosophy, particularly virtue ethics, and practical tasks for participants to put in their everyday practice. In addition to our courses, we conduct rigorous scientific research, exploring the intersection of philosophy and contemporary issues to produce evidence-based insights and practical solutions for policy makers. We also publish books, organize philosophy clubs in United Kingdom and Croatia, and offer a range of "Philosopher's Mind" items in our online shop, allowing enthusiasts to carry a piece of our philosophy with them wherever they go.

Each group or individual session begins with a philosophical quote, which pupils interpret in their own words—exploring suitable vocabulary and delving into meanings that lie beneath the surface.
In the tradition of Plato’s Academy, these young seekers of wisdom will be guided through mathematical patterns and abstract reasoning. Inspired by Aristotle’s Lyceum, they will also develop skills in logical, verbal, and non-verbal reasoning.
Whilst the programme is carefully designed to help pupils achieve top marks in the 11+ examination, it equally emphasises the value of critical thinking in everyday life—empowering children to reflect, question, and grow with confidence and creativity.
